The Young Adults League (YAL) is open for church members from age 26 years and upwards. Its modern outlook is best described by quoting some of its aims as laid out in its constution: “To maintain a developing faith in God that is reinterpreted, strengthened, and expanded as a result of increasing contact with the realities of life. …To bring in innovative partnerships with organizations outside ELCSA. …To utilize the intellectual and professional skills contained in the league towards the growth and the development of the church.” The positive identity in Christ of these urban Young Adults is summarised in the motto of the YAL: “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”Philippians 4 v 13
